First slovak skyscraper wins Award for exceptional construction quality

Eurovea Tower

Eurovea Tower has been awarded prestigious Award for exceptional construction quality presented by the Association of Construction Entrepreneurs of Slovakia at the 30th annual Slovak BUILDING OF THE YEAR (STAVBA ROKA) event. The decision was made by an eight-member international expert jury, which awarded a total of 11 prizes. The jury used technical documentation and on-site visits to assess the architecture and urban design, structure and construction-technical approach, functionality, environmental impact, materials and products, construction, ecology, energy efficiency, and wider societal benefit.

46-floor Eurovea Tower is the last part of expansion of the popular waterfront area, which includes the extended Eurovea shopping centre, Pribinova 34 and Pribinova 40 office buildings, Riverside waterfront residences, and large public spaces. Designed by GFI architectural studio, 168-metre Eurovea Tower is already a distinctive sight on Bratislava's skyline.
