New Eperia retail centre opening according to plan this autumn – with 80 % occupancy seven months before ribbon-cutting

EPERIA retail centre

Prešov will have its first modern retail centre – the last town in Slovakia to have such facility. Eperia’s opening in the Sekčov residential area is planned for mid-November. Just months before opening, the site already has 80% occupancy. Lessees will include international fashion brands and a wide range of customer services.

International brands heading for Prešov

In just a few months, Prešov’s residents can look forward to enjoying hundreds of shops, services, cafés and food courts with a wide range of food. Eperia near Sekčov is scheduled to open mid-November. The project’s exclusivity is its scope and wide range of fashionable brands for local residents. Eperia is now 80% leased, and H&M, C&A, Lindex, 4F, Yves Rocher, A3 Sport, Pandorra, and Aurum will have their very first shops in Prešov. Thanks to its contemporary store concept, brands such as H&M, C&A, Lindex, New Yorker and CCC SHOES & BAGS will give customers a completely fresh shopping experience. Other tenants will include 101 Drogerie, Tescoma, Vogue Club, Pinky Club, Bepon, PLANEO Elektro, Koh-i-Noor, Fortuna, and many others.

Everything in one place

As well as fashion, cosmetics and accessories, customers can also do their shopping at FRESH Supermarket, use a post office, Telekom, Orange and O2 mobile operators, as well as Slovenska sporiteľna, Tatra banka and Poštova banka financial services. The 22 000m2 area cafe and various gastronomic outlets such as Café Dias, La Cubanita Cuban bar, Sedliacky dvor, and Šariš new restaurant concept. Active and leisure zones are planned, and free WiFi will be available throughout the centre.

We aim to give Eperia’s future users a unique modern shopping experience. We also wanted to offer Prešov residents a useful range of shops and services so that everything’s under one roof - combining the pleasant and the necessary. The main consideration is that they consider Eperia as their own Prešov retail centre.

Eperia’s focal point will be a central square open on two floors, and as well as a leisure zone with greenery and an information point, panoramic lifts will link shopping floors with a 200-capacity underground car park – as well as 400 car spaces outside.

Prešov’s New Centre

The Eperia project is based near the Sekčov residential area, with Kaufland and Lidl outlets nearby the area is forecast to attract more than 12 000 daily visitors from day one.

Another positive aspect is that Eperia is located at the intersection of Armádneho generála Svobodu and Rusínska streets - with daily traffic flow of 20k to 30k cars.

It’s important that Prešov residents break the habit of shopping in Košíce. We believe that with our selection of brands we will hit positive figures, and Eperia will become the new centre of the city.

The project should also help regional employment, as project manager Juraj Marko observes:

Eperia will have cca 700 employees.
